Set up Cartwell in 5 minutes
Six short steps take you from install to a fully working cart drawer with a free-shipping bar and your first upsell.
Install Cartwell and choose a plan
Install from the Shopify App Store or enter your store domain on the Cartwell home page. Approve the permissions, then pick Starter, Growth or Premium to start your free trial. You land on the dashboard.
Enable the cart drawer in your theme
Go to Online Store → Themes → Customize. Open App embeds, toggle on “Cartwell Cart Drawer” and click Save. The drawer is now live on your storefront.
Set your free-shipping goal
Open Shipping in the app and enter the cart total that unlocks free shipping, plus the message shoppers see. Reload your storefront cart to watch the progress bar fill as you add items.
Add your first upsell
Open Upsells, create an offer and pick a product to recommend. Choose when it should appear, then add the trigger product to your cart on the storefront to see the upsell show up inside the drawer.
Make it yours
In Customize, pick a theme preset, set your brand colors and font, and adjust the drawer position. Save and reload the storefront to confirm it matches your shop.
Watch it perform
After a few storefront visits, open Analytics to see the conversion funnel, top upsells and device split. Use it to fine-tune your offers over time.
