No. Cartwell installs as a Shopify theme app embed. You enable it once in the theme editor and the drawer starts working. Everything else — offers, styling, text — is configured inside the app, no code needed.

Cartwell works with any Online Store 2.0 theme. It opens on top of your storefront, so it does not depend on your theme's own cart, and you can style it to match your brand.

The storefront script is lightweight and loads asynchronously, so it does not block your page. The drawer only fetches data when a shopper opens the cart.

Set a cart total that unlocks free shipping. The drawer shows shoppers a progress bar and how much more they need to add. On Premium you can set different thresholds for different countries.

Create offers and pick the products to recommend. You choose when each offer appears — for example only when a specific product or collection is already in the cart — and the suggestion shows inside the drawer.

Choose a cart goal and a gift product. When a cart qualifies, Cartwell adds the gift automatically and makes it free using an automatic discount in your store. Remove the qualifying items and the gift is removed again.

Yes. Start from one of five theme presets, then adjust colors, fonts (20 Google Fonts), drawer position and width. Premium plans can add fully custom CSS.

Yes. The storefront text can be translated, and the drawer can follow the shopper's locale.

Yes. The drawer is fully responsive and is designed mobile-first, since most storefront traffic is on phones.

Starter is great for a single shipping bar and gift. Growth adds up to 10 upsells, more tiers and store extras. Premium unlocks unlimited offers, geo-targeting, custom CSS and the longest analytics history.

Anytime. Upgrade or downgrade from the Billing page in the app. Your features adjust to the new plan immediately, and billing is handled securely through Shopify.

On high-volume stores, charges above the included monthly order volume are billed per use up to a capped amount, which is shown to you before you approve it. Most stores stay within the plan price.

Yes — every plan starts with a free trial so you can set everything up and see the drawer live before you are charged.

We process your store settings, an encrypted access token, limited order data for billing and analytics, and anonymized cart interaction events. We never collect shopper names, emails or payment details. See the Privacy Policy for full detail.
